• The Scheppach MIX 180 construction mixer for mortar and concrete is a machine that far exceeds the hobby-class standard in this price range; its specifications and technical design rival those of much more expensive professional machines.
Features
At its core is a spacious drum; its 180-liter capacity is large enough even for professional applications. The MIX 180 drum features a blade design that eliminates unmixed areas of material and a large diameter to maintain maximum capacity even when tilted into the working position. To withstand heavy loads, it features a specially reinforced bottom that is precisely robot-welded to the drum. The shaft is not mounted in thin sheet metal profiles—often only 2 mm thick, as is customary in this category—but is supported by two bearings housed in a seamless 5-mm-thick steel sleeve. This design has a fundamentally significant impact on the service life of the entire machine. The powerful motor has no trouble even when starting up a fully loaded mixer. It features a unique design: first, a dual-cooling system that eliminates the risk of motor overheating; and second, a housing system that encloses the motor in a durable casing containing a labyrinth of channels that prevent water from reaching the motor. The connection between the motor and the drum is carefully covered for safety. All electrical circuits have double insulation, which is essential for your safety while working. The control wheel has a large diameter and a wide range of drum locking positions. This makes the mixer very easy to operate. The main parts of the machine are pre-assembled, making it very simple to set up.
