The BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis features multi-channel airflow for improved module cooling, has a common power source with Redundant Power System (RPS) supply to ensure continuous operation and is made of galvanized, cold-rolled steel for excellent corrosion resistance. The BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis is hot-swappable, so BlueOptics Media Converter Modules can be inserted and removed without affecting the rest of the system. This enables faster transmission for big data applications and ultra-high bandwidth with the requirement of up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet for next-generation networks.
Various Possibilities for each Demand The BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis is the most reliable modular housing system with high density, offers a robust housing design and is a perfect solution for carrier, enterprise and campus environments, as well as FTTH (Fiber to the Home), FTTB (Fiber to the Building) or FTTC (Fiber to the Curb) Network solution applications for ISPs or Telcos where multiple copper and/or fiber integration points are essential. End-to-end copper-to-copper, copper-to-fiber, multimode-to-single-mode or multimode-to-multimode connections are possible by combining the BlueOptics Media Converter Modules in this high-density chassis with another BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis. The BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis with BlueOptics Media Converters is also an ideal solution as a standalone network solution. The media converter modules can be placed in any slot and in any order.
BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis for 14 Media Converters For environments that require medium to large deployment of media converters, the BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis is a centralized platform that simplifies configuration, management, monitoring and troubleshooting. The unified design of the BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis between the chassis slots and module faceplates provides additional chassis strength, and the redundant vertical distribution ensures that the slot alignment remains accurate, allowing an easy insertion and removal of media converter modules over time. The BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis feature an advanced module routing design along with 32-pin DIN 41612 connectors, providing a better mating accuracy for reliable module additions and changes.
Modular Media Converter Chassis Solution Each existing twisted pair switch port can be converted separately using a BlueOptics Media Converter Module. There is no connection between the BlueOptics Media Converters within the housing, so no bandwidth is lost. This modularity gives you the opportunity to adapt your network flexibly to new circumstances, so that you can start with just one media converter and add up to 14 BlueOptics Media Converters to additional slots of the BlueOptics Media Converter Chassis as your needs grow.
