Store data and multimedia content centrally on the FANTEC CL-35B2 Cloud NAS multimedia server and provide it via gigabit ethernet to devices such as PC, Smartphone, Tablet, TV, hi-fi system, games console and media player or use worldwide availability over the Internet.
The WebDAV feature enables for example the mapping as a network drive via the Internet and allows to handle the drive like a local disk.
In addition, the cloud feature gives the ability to log in at the unit at any time via the Internet to manage the content. By this way the data are always available, but still reserved for private access.
The UPnP Media Server enables streaming of images, videos and music to games consoles like Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 or TV devices and media players. Moreover, even iTunes and other media libraries are supported.
Attached USB drives (NTFS/FAT/FAT32) can be shared in the network and it is possible to backup the data by pressing the Backup button (FAT32/FAT).
The internal print server turns an standard USB printer into a network printer.
By installing the NAS by the use of the Auto-Mode, the initial startup is easy and fast to handle.
Various RAID modes also offer several settings for data redundancy and data security.
For mobile use there are gratis apps for the iPhone, iPad and Android available.
