Hunting for razor-sharp images has reached a new level: BRAUN Photo Technik presents the Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi 8K, a wildlife camera with WiFi function.
This wildlife camera is not only a master of camouflage in the hunting ground, but also a watchful eye for all properties. With up to 8K video resolution, this camera leaves no detail undetected - from the majestic stag to the light-shy long finger. The WiFi connection offers numerous possibilities. Whether you want to document wildlife or protect your property, the Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi 8K is your eyes and ears when you can't be there.
With WiFi capability in conjunction with the free app, the user can view, download or delete all recordings. The BRAUN Black400 WiFi 8K therefore eliminates the hassle of removing the memory card. The app also enables a live preview with the option to record images and videos manually. In addition to convenient data transfer, the system settings of the wildlife camera can also be managed via the WiFi connection and the app.
The resolution of the photos and videos as well as many other parameters can be set via the connected smartphone and the app. However, settings can also be made directly on the camera via the control panel and the 2.0” TFT color display. The images can also be viewed conveniently and directly via the color display.
In addition, the BRAUN Scouting Cam Black400 WiFi 8K can record videos with a resolution of up to 8K, while photos can be taken with an image resolution of up to 60 MP. Users can choose between video resolutions of 8K, 4K, 2.7K, 1080P and 720P at 30fps. In terms of image resolution, the user has a choice of image resolutions between 2MP and max. 60MP.
Thanks to the two built-in infrared LEDs and the 4MP CMOS image sensor, both day and night shots are possible. The Braun SC400 WiFi 8K also has an integrated PIR motion sensor with three different sensitivities, a detection angle of 120° degrees, a trigger distance of up to 15 meters and a trigger time of approx. 0.3 seconds.
The recordings can be saved on a microSD memory card with up to 128 GB. The wildlife camera can also be connected to a PC and TV via a USB-C slot.
In addition, the wildlife camera from BRAUN Photo Technik has an integrated microphone, a loudspeaker, password protection, a time-lapse mode and the display of date, time, moon phase and temperature. The robust and weatherproof (IP66) wildlife camera can be easily attached to the desired location thanks to a mounting strap. The operating temperature range extends from -20°C to +60°C. The standby time is approximately 6 months. The camera is powered by 8 x AA batteries. Optionally, the camera can also be operated with a 6V 1.5A mains adapter.
