With the integrated Intel X540 chipset, the card ensures maximum stability and is compatible with numerous network technologies. These include VLAN tagging, IEEE802.3ad Link Aggregation Control Protocol (LACP), PXE boot as well as iSCSI and FCoE support.
Thanks to the PCIe x8 interface (Rev. 2.1), the card can be flexibly integrated into modern IT infrastructures. Backwards compatibility with 1000Base-T enables a smooth transition to 10GbE networks.
