BMX XBPpp00 racks are the basic element of the Modicon M340 automation platform in a single-rack configuration.,These racks perform the following functions:
Mechanical function:
They are used to install all the modules in a PLC station (power supply, processor, discrete I/O, analog and application-specific I/O). These racks can be mounted on a panel, plate or DIN rail:
Inside enclosures
On machine frames, etc.
Electrical function:
Distribute the power supplies required for each module in the same rack
Distribute data and service signals for the entire PLC station
Hot swap modules during operation
The racks incorporate a Bus X. They are used to:
Schneider Electric Backplane, DIN Rail Mounting Type, 372.8x103.7x19mm - BMXXBP0800
This backplane connects various Modicon M340 components, enabling communication between processors, power supplies, and I/O modules in a modular PLC setup. Its design facilitates efficient integration within control systems.
