4K 18Gbps Multiformat HDBaseT Wallplate Extender Set
The Multiformat via HDBaseT Wallplate Extender Set PT-HDBT-220WP consists of a wallplate transmitter for integration into a 2-gang wall socket as well as a stand-alone receiver. It transmits HDMI 2.0 signals with full 18Gbps bandwidth up to 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) including HDCP 2.2 / 1.4 2 as well as USB-C signals up to 4K@30Hz (4:4:4). The maximum transmission distance is 40 meters for 4K@60 (4:4:4) resolutions and 70 meters for FulllHD / 1080p@60 resolutions. The input signals can be automatically detected and switched or manually switched by pressing a button, including CEC support. Three USB-A KVM ports are available on the receiver to transfer USB 2.0 signals via HDBaseT to the USB-B port of the transmitter, to which a PC is connected for remote operation. The system allows bidirectional transmission (pass-through) of PoH / PoC up to 24V as well as IR control signals, each with separate In/Out ports on TX and RX. Both devices can be accessed in three modes via RS232.

The PT-HDBT-220WP 4K Multiformat HDBaseT Wallplate Extender Set includes an HDMI and USB-C wallplate transmitter / switcher (TX) for direct integration into a 2-gang wall socket and a stand-alone receiver (RX) to transmit incoming AV signals via HDBaseT. Both devices are connected with a conventional Cat. Cable (Cat.5e / Cat.6a) over distances up to 40 meters for 4K resolutions with max. 60Hz at 4:4:4 colour subsampling or up to 70 meters for 2K FullHD / 1080p resolutions with max. 60Hz at 4:4:4 colour subsampling. The USB-C input accepts AV streams via USB-C alt mode as well as USB data signals.

The immediate use of a fully integrated wall connection panel means less cabling effort and requires less additional hardware, such as separate wall or desk connection panels.

Three USB-A ports are provided on the receiver for integration of USB 2.0 devices. Their signals are transmitted via HDBaseT to the USB-B port on the wallplate transmitter, to which the receiving "host" PC is then connected. For example, USB storage devices can be connected at the RX site and easily accessed from the respective host PC at the workstation or presentation site. It is also possible to connect KVM devices such as keyboard, mouse and webcam for use with remote PCs. "Hi-Speed" USB 2.0 is supported, which enables the integration of older and newer devices. Devices with USB 3.x or higher therefore transmit with a maximum of 480Mbps USB 2.0 Hi-Speed data rate.

Two push buttons are available on the wallplate transmitter for system control. The "Display ON/OFF" push button is used for remote display shutdown and can be programmed via IR learning or RS232. The HDMI / USB-C input signals can be automatically detected and switched or manually switched via "Source-Auto" button, including CEC support.
The system supports bidirectional PoC or PoH power up to 24V. This means that only one of the two devices needs to be powered so that the other device is also supplied via the HDBaseT Cat connection. This saves on power supplies and keeps things tidy, thanks to less cabling in one of the two locations.
Both devices feature an IR input as well as an IR output. This means that the connected display device can be controlled from the side of the source device and vice versa.
Both transmitter and receiver also include a 3-pin Phoenix connector for control via RS232 in 3 modes: local control at the TX, pass-through from the TX through the RX to the display device, or pass-through from the RX to the TX.
The 12V power connector on the receiver is lockable with a screw lock.
The wallplate transmitter also features several status LEDs, indicating the operating status, HDBaseT connection and the active input. In addition, the wallplate transmitter has a recessed "Reset" push button and an integrated IR eye.
