PI185 - 4K HDMI to DisplayPort Portsaver Adapter- 0.1m
The PI185 connects 4K HDMI sources to 4K DisplayPort devices and at the same time protects sensitive sockets! This HDMI (plug) to DisplayPort (socket) adapter offers various features: It offers the connection of a 4K HDMI source to a common DisplayPort cable and extends sources with HDMI to a 4K DisplayPort output effectively. Additionally, the PI185 is a Portsaver, which offers traction relief at the socket and comes with a small bending radius. The HDMI side has an additional power input to give increased relaibility in low voltage sceanrios - a professional product for professional use. Please note, that this adapter does not work bidirectionally, it cannot be used for DisplayPort sources to connect to HDMI-ready sinks.

Our PureInstall DisplayPort to HDMI adapters comply with DispalyPort1.2a and HDMI2.0b standards. They support resolutions up to 4K 60Hz 4:4:4 8bit or WQXGA at 10 bit color and are downward compatible with all former DP and HDMI versions.
Extended Compatibility
The adapter converts signals from DisplayPort (plug) to HDMI-A (socket) and therefore extends the compatibility of sources with DisplayPort output effectively by a HDMI port for HDMI-ready screens. The adapter is, however, not bidirectionally (from HDMI source to DisplayPort sink) usable!
Never Again Worry about Worn Sockets
Portsavers are a reasonable addition when stiff and long and/or thick HDMI cables are being used. The Portsaver is being connected to the socket of the receiving device and relieves it by picking up the traction coming from the connected cable. Additionally, our Portsavers have an extreme bending radius (up to 180°), thanks to their highly elastic manufacturing. This simplifies the use of stiff HDMI cables in fragile sockets.
