This slot bracket routes two internal serial ports of your mainboard to the outside and provides them as 9-pin D-Sub male connectors. The 1:1 pinout makes correct connection easier. With an approx. 18 cm cable length, the installation can be implemented neatly.
In professional IT environments and on-site installations, it enables the continued use of serial peripherals via the rear of the PC. In existing infrastructures of companies and public institutions, it also simplifies service operations and expansions without changing the internal cabling.
